The Employment Pass is the most common pass for university-educated or highly skilled and experienced individuals. Recent graduates must command a salary of at least S$3,600, while older candidates with more experience require a higher salary. A job offer in Singapore is required, too.
There is no quota and no foreign worker levy for Employment Passes.
The EP is usually valid for 2-3 years and renewable. EP holders with a minimum salary of S$5,000 can obtain Dependant Passes for their spouses and children and Long Term Visit Passes for other family members. EP holders with a minimum salary of S$10,000 can obtain Long Term Visit Passes for their parents as well.
